Opening Reflections

Hello! My name is Sarah Beam and I'm a sophomore at the University of Tulsa. I'm majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Art History and Advertising. The purpose of this blog is to post what I'm working on in Illustrator 3463. I've always been a traditional artist so I'm a bit nervous to delve into digital work, but I'm excited to be learning how to use Photoshop and Illustrator this year. 

After I graduate I would love to write and illustrate children's books. However, my real dream is to have my own private studio to draw and paint all day and a personal gallery in which to sell my work.
